What's all this about?
Traditionally, Livestation's channels are all broadcast from a single server location. This sometimes causes people problems when they try and connect from remote locations like New Zealand.
Livestation Pro eliminates this problem by using industry-leading Content Delivery Network (CDN) infrastructure, which brings the video stream to a server much closer to your own internet service provider. By paying for Livestation Pro you allow us to cover the cost of providing this higher level of service to you.
Why aren't all the channels included?
Some Livestation partner channels are delivered directly from the content owners. We don't re-publish these streams, and most of the time they are already delivered over a CDN, so you should already get the best performance from these channels.
User added channels are also not managed by us so we cannot pass these through our infrastructure either. As always, we cannot be responsible for the quality or reliability of user added channels.
