With the <a href="http://www.livestation.com/blog/27-livestation_chat_room_changes-2000000027">dramatic increase in usage and popularity of our channel chat rooms</a> over the last few weeks we have had to introduce some moderation guidelines which will enable us to ignore spammers and those pushing hate speech. Here is our "silencing" policy: 1. Anyone pushing hate speech with incitement to kill, obscenity or sexual reference will be banned from the chat room for 10 minutes in the first instance, 20 minutes in the second and 60 minutes in the third. 2. For repeat postings (copy and paste), users will be banned for 5 minutes in the first instance, 10 minutes in the second instance and then 15 minutes in the third. 3. Libellous comments will receive a 60 minute ban. With a lot of people turning to the internet to find more information about the war, our traffic has consequently grown a lot and very quickly. I am having problems logging into Livestation , receiving a 502 bad gateway error message. I have tried the program on both MAc and Windows - same problem.. and only guess that either i need to add some additional Proxy settings that may be specific to Livestation? Whats odd, is that when i use Livestation in a Wifi Zone on my macbook in another location i have no probkems so i guess it may have something to do with internet settings via Telefonica at home... Any suggestions on possible proxy or other settings?
