How do I run the player in Debug mode?
Running the Livestation player with the –debug flag will increase the amount of logging and help us to solve user problems.
Before trying to run the player in debug mode make sure that you have completely closed the program and that there is no Livestation icon showing in the system tray.
Windows
Right click on the Livestation desktop shortcut and add -debug to the end of the target box as shown below.

- Click OK and run Livestation using the shortcut.
Mac OSX
To run the player in debug mode in Mac OSX requires use of the terminal.

First open a terminal by looking in your /Applications/Utilities folder for the Terminal application.

Now enter the command /Applications/Livestation.app/Contents/MacOS/Livestation –debug and push enter.
- Livestation should now be running in debug mode.
Linux
- Instead of typing the usual Livestation command instead type
livestation –debug

Windows Vista
C:\Users\John\Livestation\Logs\Livestation.log
Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\John\Livestation\Logs\Livestation.log
Mac OSX
~/Library/Logs/Livestation/Livestation.log
