Installing and running Livestation on Linux
Your download should start in a moment.
- Once the file has downloaded, start a terminal session and navigate to the folder you downloaded the file to.
- Type chmod +x ./Livestation-[version].run
- Type ./Livestation-[version]-i386.run
- Press q to skip the readme
- Press y to accept the terms
- Follow the prompts to complete installation. You may need sudo access to write some files
- Once installed, type livestation & to run the application
- Due to graphics driver issues, ATI and Intel graphics cards may exhibit flickering when using Livestation and Compiz or other OpenGL applications simultaneously. At present the only solution is to temporarily disable Compiz/Beryl while running Livestation.
Installing and running Livestation on Debian Linux
Your download should start in a moment.
- Double-click the downloaded file to start the Debian package manager and install Livestation.
- Once the installer is complete, an icon will have been created in your menu under 'Sound and Video'.
- Due to graphics driver issues, ATI and Intel graphics cards may exhibit flickering when using Livestation and Compiz or other OpenGL applications simultaneously. At present the only solution is to temporarily disable Compiz/Beryl while running Livestation.
Installing and running Livestation on Mac OS
Your download should start in a moment.
- Your file should start downloading automatically
- After download, your Mac should mount the Livestation image for you
- Drag the Livestation icon into your Applications folder
- Double-click the icon to start Livestation
- We recommend you make a shortcut in your dock or on your desktop for easy access to Livestation
Installing and running Livestation on Windows
Your download should start in a moment.
- Double-click the icon to start the Livestation installer
- Livestation will start automatically after the installation finishes

What happens next?
After installing, there's a really simple registration step, just an email address and password. We need this so we can retrieve your player customisations, such as user channel selections when you use the player. You can also use this login to post on the forums.
