Frequently Asked Questions
-
Why does my anti-virus software keeps asking me to allow Livestation access to the Internet?
To keep Livestation working well, we periodically release updated versions of the software to everyone. Some anti-virus software sees the new version as a new application and will ask you to allow access to the internet. We are working on making this process more slick and unintrusive.
-
Why does Livestation stop working with certain software on my machine?
In some rare instances it is possible that Livestation may stop working when unrelated software is installed on the machine. If you experience this problem please let us know.
-
Why does Livestation take a while to launch when my machine starts?
Livestation is designed to delay launching for a short time when your computer first starts up to avoid overloading your machine as multiple applications load up.
-
Why do I not receive all available channels?
The list of channels available to you is dependant on your location, due to tv broadcasting restrictions in place.
-
Why does the message 'Signal Unavailable, Livestation is trying to reconnect' appear, when I tune in or whilst watching a channel?
This may happen if your bandwidth does not meet the minimum requirements of 800Kbps downstream and 256Kbps upstream, needed for Livestation to run. Please run a speed test at www.speedtest.net and ensure minimum requirements are met.
-

Outbound connections:
